I use such way for my drivers but makefile is very tricky. With the different devices, they can have the same driver , it's because they all use the same chip manufacturer. Also I'd like to see in that file smth like device name or description which we could print while device attach. A contradiction between the methods can happen should your latest driver overlaps any number of the methods that happen to be formerly used on any of the older drivers.


In my build of the driver I have disabled the checks that force Pure B so it would be good to know if this might cause other problems. As the driver is already integrated in the kernel, but the wlan chip was not detected.


Download Qualcomm Atheros wireless driver - I repeated the test from cold with the vendor driver first, and found the opposite results the vendor driver from cold had a few hundred fails, then zd1211rw from warm had thousands of fails. Drivers I'm running Win7 and the Zydas Adapter doesn't work at all!

Regards, Zen I tried vendor driver 2. One damaging consequence of a malfunctioning zd1211 vista driver is often a diminished web relationship, though the bad news tend not to stop at that. The better way is to compile a sample module with versions file, but this way is better for configure. So, I changed to use from zd1211rw to the vendor based community driver, zd1211b svn rev. Next bump is loading the module. I'm hopeful that with this zd1211 driver I will get my wish :- I plan on connecting to a wpa2 peap with mschapv2 network I currently use madwifi drivers on my laptop but am looking for something to use with my gumstix.
